Parks & Recreation Facilities

Elizabeth Park Sports and Community Centre is home to one of Thurmaston Parish Council’s parks. There is a large grassed area for children to play on, a playground, zipwire, exercise equipment, a muga and both grassed and 3G football pitches.

Silverdale park can be accessed via a footpath on Silverdale Drive that runs next to Thurmaston Community Centre. It is a grassed park with a play area and a muga.

Garden Street is owned and maintained by Thurmaston Parish Council. There is a village green which leads onto a playground, a football pitch, a muga and a large grassed area to enjoy.
