Thank You and Welcome
Article by Cllr. Mark Lowe, Chairman - Thurmaston Parish Council
Parish Clerk, Tracey Harley will be leaving after 23 years working for the Parish Council, initially working for six years as Deputy Clerk under Janice Harriman.
During this time Tracey has been key to the Parish Council - always hard-working and extremely efficient. She has seen many Councillors join and leave the Council over the period of 23 years and become a friend to both Councillors and staff.
Tracey has been a great support to me as Chairman of the Council and on behalf of the Parish Council I would like to thank Tracey for all her dedication and commitment. We are sad to see you leave but wish you well for the future.
The August meeting of the Parish Council will be Tracey's last meeting as Parish Clerk.
We are delighted to announce that Tracey will be handing over the reigns to Alixe Taylor. Please join me in welcoming Alixe who was previously Deputy Clerk several years ago and has returned to Thurmaston Parish Council after working for a number of councils gaining much knowledge and experience.
